Suzuki chose LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries over NMC(Nickel Manganese Cobalt ) for the e-ACCESS’ lithium-ion battery pack specifically because LFP batteries deliver the betterbalance of capacity, durability, high reliability in the event of damage, and long cycle life. In fact, the cycle life of LFP is typically two to three times that of NCM. By extending the life of the battery, the most expensive component in an electric vehicle, the e-ACCESS maximizes the advantages of an EV, including low maintenance costs and low running costs.Also the introduction of a secure battery box integrated into the frame structure helps to better protect the battery pack.

We believe that truly reliable craftsman ship comes from meticulous attention to details & the legacy built over time. Development test on E-Access follow the same rigorous test as large motorcycles like Hayabusa. This is Suzuki Standard. The aim was to realize a safe, reliable battery pack capable of withstanding extreme conditions. Stringent testing focused on protection against water, shock and heat, both for the individual electric components and their connections. In addition to motor bench tests, these include testing the batteries at extreme temperatures, battery submersion tests, battery crush tests and battery puncture tests.

The e-ACCESS improves on areas where users typically find the drivability of electric scooters lacking. For example, rather than establish a 1:1 setting between the actual degree of throttle opening and power output, the settings are made to achieve a 1:1 relationship between power output and how the throttle action feels to the rider. This is what results in linear characteristics that riders will find more satisfying
SMOOTH PICKUP WITH SYNCHRONISED THROTTLE RESPONSE

Priority was to provide constant power output, even when the SoC (State of Charge) drops. In contrast to competing models, the e-ACCESS is designed to continue delivering constant power and maintain the same responsive feeling as the SoC drops by increasing the amount of power demanded by the inverter.

One advantage of the belt is that it never requires lubrication, (which is necessary when usinga standard roller chain). The belt employs an auto-tensioner that eliminates the need for regular adjustments. And, by preventing slippage under load, the belt’s toothed design also contributes to significantly extending its life expectancy to approximately seven years or 70,000 kilometers, more than three times longer than that of a CVT drive belt. Attention to detail extends to the design of the teeth themselves. Their shape was optimized to make the belt operate much more quietly than a chain.

SDMS-e offers riders a choice of three drive modes optimized to best suit their preferences in addition to Reverse Mode for Convenience.Eco mode: Maximizes cruising range by limiting maximum speed to 55 km/h by restrictingpower output to conserve energy and also allowing greater energy recovery by strengthening regenerative braking.Ride mode A: Delivers maximum output and maximum speed is 71 km/h with High regenerative braking setting.Ride mode B: Delivers maximum output and maximum speed is 71 km/hwith Low regenerative braking setting.Reverse Mode : Assists the rider when backing up in tight parking spaces

This system lets the rider turn on the motor, open the charging inlet lid, or access the underseat utility compartment as long as they are carrying the remote fob on their person. That means there is no need to fumble around in one’s pockets or backpack to locate the actual fob.

The main switch provides integrated control over the seat opener, steering lock, and charging inlet lid lock functions in a single location. This is far more convenient than when they are scattered across differing locations, as is the case on scooters from many other makers
MULTI-FUNCTION STARTER SWITCH

A locking mechanism on the charging lid helps prevent tampering while the e-ACCESS is parked. It works in conjunction with the keyless system to let the rider open the charging lid simply by operating the knob on the main switch as long as they are carrying the remote fob on their person. The lock’s two-action scheme, which requires the rider to push the knob and then continue pressing it while turning it to the right,also helps prevent the lid from being opened by mistake.

A button on the remote fob activates an answer-back function, triggering a beep and causing the turn signals to flash, making it easier to find the e-ACCESS in a crowded parking lot.

The e-ACCESS is equipped with a handy 2A USB port that can be used to recharge a smartphone. An attractive blue LED lights when the USB outlet is in use, which makes the outlet easy to locate, especially at night or in dark conditions.
