Scope of Warranty -
SUZUKI MOTORCYCLE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED (SMIPL) offers warranty for Suzuki Motorcycle models manufactured in its Gurgaon plant and sold through its authorized dealers. Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited reserves the right either to replace or repair, at their authorized dealer, free of cost, those parts which may be found on examination to have manufacturing defect within 2 years from the date of sale (or) first 30,000 kms whichever occurs earlier of its operation.
Condition of Warranty -
The warranty coverage for Products will be valid only if the following are availed & followed:
The claim for ex-change (or) repair of parts shall be considered only when:
Warranty claims in respect of proprietary items like Tyres, Tubes, Battery and Sparkplug are warranted by their respective manufacturers and shall be claimed on them directly by the customer as per their warranty terms and SMIPL shall not be liable in any manner to replace them.
However SMIPL authorized dealer will give full assistance in taking up the claims with respective manufacturers.
Warranty Claims in respect of shock absorbers (front & rear), Speedometers etc. though claimed through SMIPL are subject to the acceptance of the respective manufacturers.
SMIPL reserves the right to carry out the replacement of the defective part with the same part manufactured by another vendor, which is also used by SMIPL.
Warranty Claims will only be handled through SMIPL authorized dealers & will not be entertained directly by SMIPL at all.
SMIPL undertake no liability in the matter of consequential loss or damage caused due to the failure of parts. Delay, if any, for carrying out the repairs at SMIPL authorized dealer, shall not be a ground for extending the warranty period, nor shall it give any right to the customer for claiming any compensation for damages.

SMIPL reserves the right to make any changes in the design or to add any improvement(s) on the motorcycle at any time without incurring any obligation to make the same on the motorcycle previously supplied (or) sold /manufactured. Also the conditions of this warranty are subject to alterations without any notice. This warranty is the entire written warranty given by SMIPL for your motorcycle, and no employee, SMIPL authorized dealer (or) other person is authorized to extend or enlarge the terms of warranty.
Decision regarding warranty settlement shall be taken by SMIPL and shall be final and binding on all concerned.

The Extended Warranty is a new warranty and starts after the expiry of manufacturer's warranty.
It is the responsibility of the customer to produce all necessary documents/records to prove that the two-wheeler has been serviced at prescribed interval and maintained through Suzuki Authorized Dealership / Service Centre only.
Please ensure availing of all mandatory free / paid services on time to avoid invalidity.
Extended Warranty is designed to assist towards the cost of repairs/replacement of parts covered under extended warranty. The dealer will only accept the responsibility for repairs/replacement as per the terms and conditions.
The term of the extended warranty period shall be for
Extended warranty commence on the expiry of manufacturers 24 months or 24,000 kms (Scooter) / 30,000 kms (Motorcycle) warranty period.
If any defect or defects should be found in your Two-wheeler within the terms stipulated above, EW selling dealer will be obligated to repair or replace at his sole discretion any part shown to be defected with a new part or the equivalent at no cost to the owner for parts and labour, when the dealer acknowledges that such a defect is attributable to the breakdown as defined.

Service Requirement
In order to maintain the validity of Extended Warranty, the Two-Wheeler must be serviced by SMIL Dealer/ Service Centre in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

Note: The only proof that servicing has been carried out will be, the fully detailed service invoice[s] indicating service date[s] and mileage[s]. For your own protection you should retain these documents for inspection in the event of a claim.

Roadside Assistance Program is a 24x7 emergency support provided in the event of any mechanical or electrical breakdown and or traffic accident of a vehicle. Roadside assistance offers a host of benefits to the policyholder and serves as an essential aspect of your vehicle maintenance and protection.
Covered Area
The roadside assistance services are available on National highways, State highways and motorable roads (Including hilly terrains) within mainland India.
Covered Distance
Covered Area up to maximum of 50 KMs (For Domestic 2 wheelers up to 250 CC) and 300 KM / Unlimited KMs ( For Big Bikes). The Distance measured is from the breakdown location of the Vehicle to the Authorized Service Centre, which has been activated to provide the services. For calculation purpose, the covered Distance will be considered from breakdown location to drop location.
Cover Period
Cover period will be one year form date of RSA sale.
Service Provider
Europ Assistance India Pvt Ltd ( EAI) is the Service provider for Road side assistance.

Our customers can avail 24 x 7 Roadside assistance just by calling an Exclusive contact numbers i.e. 022-67347489 for all Suzuki Domestic Two Wheelers up to 250 CC category and 022-67347490 for all Suzuki Big Bike customers.
Cooling off Period
There would be a cooling-off period of 7 days for the vehicles where RSA policy is not sold at the time of new vehicle delivery. For RSA policy sold with the new vehicles, there is no cooling-off period.

On Site Minor Repairs | Arrange Technician for minor repair and mobilizing vehicle (if possible). EAI will bear labour cost and conveyance costs. Cost of Material & Spare Parts if required to repair the vehicle will be borne by the User. |
Emergency Towing Assistance (Breakdowns and Accidents) | If covered Vehicle breakdown due to a mechanical or electrical fault or an accident which cannot be repaired on the spot, Vehicle will be towed to the nearest Authorized Service Centre within covered KM range. |
Battery recharge/ charging point assistance | EAI will support in jump starting the battery. Any additional on-spot charging to the vehicle would be charged on actual & such cost would be directly paid by the user to the third party. |
Lost Key retrieval | In case Customer forgets or lost vehicle keys, EAI will assist in retrieving alternative Keys to the Vehicle location within coverage KM range. |
Fuel Assistance | EAI facilitates fuel supply at vehicle stalling locations (up to 5 Liters). Cost of fuel to be borne by customers. |
Tyre problem / change | EAI will assist in taking flat tyre to the nearest tyre repair shop for repairs & re-attached to the Vehicle. All incidental charges for the same shall be borne by the User. |
Charges for Extra KM
Extra kms beyond 50 kms (for domestic 2 wheeler up to 250 CC) and beyond 300 kms (for Big Bikes) would be charged from the customer at Rs. 15/KM for Repair on site (ROS) and Rs. 30/KM for Towing
Limitation of RSA service
EAI shall not be responsible for any delay or failure to provide the Services due to a Force Majeure events, such as Natural calamities e.g. floods
EAI shall not provide services for vehicles that are used for the purpose of racing, rallying, motor-sports, or in any instance where the covered vehicle is not being used /driven in accordance with applicable laws and régulations.
The services shall not be provided to users in respect of routine repairs /services at the User’s Home or other locations.
The services shall be activated to only immobilised vehicles which cannot be driven on their own power.
User shall not be entitled to these services under the following circumstances and conditions:
